Suzusho Supasse storms in Japanese sports car
What would you do if you have a name for your new sports automobile? Ask the wife! The wild Suzusho Supasse debut in Tokyo, where he was shown entrepreneur Tosho Suzuki developed his passport from his partner. He explained the two great overtaking places - hence the model designation "Supasse.
Power comes from a 2.3 liter turbo with 265bhp - a development engine in the Mazda3 MPS - and Supasse provided with ABS and EBD to tip the scales at only 850 kg. Accordingly, it covers 0-60mph in five seconds and 160 mph flat-out beats.
It goes on sale in Japan next summer, a low of 9 million yen (€ 60,000). But Suzuki said sales of the gull-winged sports automobile world is unlikely in the foreseeable future.
